Event Safety Protocols

In light of the current surge in COVID-19 cases and the high transmission levels across the state, a variety of safety protocols have been implemented for the upcoming RE/MAX of Michigan Regional Conference & Awards Gala, to be held February 10-12 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. Please read through the following details carefully, as some aspects differ from our previous events.

All attendees will be required to provide photo or physical proof of one of the following along with a matching photo ID.

  1. Full vaccination, which means that at least 14 days have passed since receiving the final dose of an FDA approved vaccine. A booster is not required.
    • Feb 10 check in = vaccination completed on or before Jan 27, 2022
    • Feb 11 check in = vaccination completed on or before Jan 28, 2022
    • Feb 12 check in = vaccination completed on or before Jan 29, 2022
  2. A negative result of a professionally administered PCR/molecular (NOT ANTIGEN) test within 72 hours prior to the day you check in at RC22. Rapid antigen tests, whether administered professionally or at home, will not be accepted.
    • Feb 10 check in = test dated on or after Feb 7, 2022
    • Feb 11 check in = test dated on or after Feb 8, 2022
    • Feb 12 check in = test dated on or after Feb 9, 2022
    • Click here for resources on finding a PCR test that meets the above criteria.
    • Please note that due to the current demand for COVID-19 tests, you will likely need to make an appointment well in advance of your test.
  3. Recent recovery from COVID-19 in the form of a positive professionally administered COVID-19 test dated no less than 10 days but no more than 100 days prior to the day you check in at RC22.
    • Feb 10 check in = test dated between Nov 3, 2021 and Jan 31, 2022
    • Feb 11 check in = test dated between Nov 4, 2021 and Feb 1, 2022
    • Feb 12 check in = test dated between Nov 5, 2021 and Feb 2, 2022

Masks will be required at all times.

Masks must be properly worn over the mouth and nose at all times during all RC22 events and sessions, including in the registration area, regardless of vaccination status, except when actively eating or drinking. Gaiters, bandanas, face shields, and valve masks are not acceptable.

A variety of additional safety measures will be in place to help protect attendees.

  • Social distancing will be encouraged and opportunities to do so will be provided.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed throughout the event space.
  • The Grand Traverse Resort & Spa has increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces. The frequency of air filter replacement and HVAC system cleaning has also been increased.
